Living in Münster

There are different alternatives for students to live in Münster.
The most known and often most used ones are in partnership with the Studierendenwerk, You can apply to live in many of the students dorms that exist in Münster as well as in Steinfurt. There are different types of dorms that include Coexisting with 2 to 4 people which we call a WG (Wohngemeinschaft) with shared kitchen and bathroom. As well as the option of living in a flat of your own with your own bathroom but in which you have to share the kitchen with more or less 16 other students.
One of the perks of living in a place owned by the Studierendenwerk is the fact that the rent is way lower compared to a private place and you have a concierge that is in charge of fixing everything that may be broken or bad in your place without additional cost.
The great friends and wonderful moments that you will live in the student dorms, (or anywhere else during your studies) are for sure going to have a fondly place in you.

It is possible as well to find a WG or a private flat outside of the Studierendenwerk, some of the most used websites for this are:
WG-Wanted: wg-gesucht.de
NaDann: nadann.de
WG-Flats & Apartments Münster (Facebook-Group): facebook.com
